Pocketful of Dreams - Hardcover Kid's / Unit Plan

The teacher's edition is for teachers, parents, homeschoolers and kids. This includes a unit plan for K-2 Teachers, written by a veteran first grade teacher.

It's bedtime, and Momma tucks her girls into bed and says, "Happy Dreams." Karen and Sue are off to sleep. Floating in a midnight sky, they dream their favorite dream. They dream of a garden wonderland where flowers bloom like candy for the picking. When they wake, they crave the sweets from their dream. To earn candy money, the two sisters open a lemonade stand-the symbol of the entrepreneurial spirit of America's youth. They soon learn that running a reallife business is not as easy as picking candy from trees in a dreamscape. A hole in their money bag leaves them penniless, and they face hard lessons about responsibility and doing the right thing. Resourceful and imaginative, the sisters set a great example of how teamwork and honesty pay off.
