Humorously told through the voice of a savvy college professor with a money hungry immoral husband (Chelsea), a lovesick hair stylist with an emotionally draining and physically abusive boyfriend (Tonya), and a powerhouse attorney too busy to notice her boyfriend is caught up in fantasies of a menage-a-trios (Brooklyn). If only their personal lives could mimic their professional lives, then they wouldn't have to wish so hard to find true love before it is almost too late. Lydia M. Lacy, Ucal P. Finley, and Erika M. Jones are the author's of Birthday Wishes; which is told in first person from three different perspectives. The authors have characterized successful and educated women involved in toxic relationships as they each confront reality upon celebrating their 30th birthdays. The novel is a definite page-turner and involves readers with action, love, lust, lies, murder, forgiveness, and modern day struggles.
