Description:
Frank Rossini's first published poems appeared in a stapled mimeographed magazine, Utter, in New York City in 1969. Since then he's published in various journals including Poetry Now, The Greenfield Review, The Mas Tequila Review, Seattle Review, Willow Springs, The Paterson Literary Review, Chiron Review, and Raven Chronicles. Silver-fish Review Press published his chapbook, sparking the rain, in 1979. In 2012, sight |for| sight books published midnight the blues, a book of jazz inspired poems. A native of New York City, he moved to Eugene, Oregon in 1972, where he taught in a program for young migrant farmworkers and completed an MFA in Creative Writing at the University of Oregon. He then taught for thirty years at Lane Community College, working with adult learners returning to school. Now retired, he writes and tends a small piece of land on the edge of town with his wife, Lynn Nakamura, and their dog, Camas. Book jacket.
