Praise Poetry and Propaganda

The writing of Praise Poetry and Propaganda became a spiritual assignment for me. Working on this book over several years, I continually put it down and picked it up again. I had to cultivate my focus to finish! I finally engaged and persevered. I am very sensitive. Many people believe that being sensitive is a form of weakness. I realized that my sensitivity allowed me to feel and have compassion, giving me the ability to convey a universal message of hope that resonates through poetry. I thank God for the courage I have to speak up and bring awareness to controversial issues. What many assumed was a type of weakness is actually my strength.
