Romare Bearden: Southern Recollections

Romare Bearden was an Afro-American artist. He worked with many types of media including cartoons, oils and collages.The book is devoted to Romare Bearden's work and career. Includes many illustrations, most of which are in color. This volume highlights his early childhood memories of the South. Published as part of an exhibition held at the Mint Museum of Art, Charlotte, N.C. from September 2nd, 2011 thru January 8th, 2012.
