Beneath the Surface

Romance and suspense combine in this novel set on the west side of Puget Sound in the Shadow of the Olympic Mountains. In the aftermath of a double homicide, Carla Summers and grizzly-bearded tree patrolman Jason Gerard meet again and grow close for a time, until she ignores his calls. She avoids him until a natural disaster leaves him fighting for his life.
