Seducing the Asparagus Queen

Amorak Huey's Seducing the Asparagus Queen won the 2018 Vern Rutsala Poetry Prize from Cloudbank Books. Praise for this book include Catie Rosemurgy's comment: "Very early in this book, I gave up and stopped underlining. All of the lines in these poems are my favorite lines. It breaks my heart a little to find out what happens in the next sentence, and that's exactly what I come to poetry for."
