Are The Medjugorje Apparitions Authentic?

The reported apparitions of the Blessed Virgin Mary in the little village of Medjugorje in Bosnia-Hercegovina have attracted the attention of the world. More than 45 million people have gone there on pilgrimage. Since June 24, 1981, six Croatian teenagers began to report daily visits from a heavenly entity, which identified itself as the Blessed Virgin Mary, the mother of Jesus.
