Country Walks Near Washington

This guidebook explores national, state, and local parks and trail networks near Washington DC. Half of the sites are reachable by public transportation, and many of the trails are also suitable for bicycling. Each chapter includes an overview, detailed directions, one or more maps (there are 65 in all) and commentary on social and natural history.
