The tragedy of 9/11 opened the eyes of America's youth as nothing else could. They immediately saw their world for what it was rather than for what they wanted it to be. For one young man in particular the view was nearly unbearable. Trapped inside the life of a drug addict, this man saw that in order to survive he would have to change, break free of the passive existence he had come to loathe.
