This book deals with the issue of project management sophistication, the methods to measure it, and the means to improve it. This book describes the reasoning for the enhancement efforts for maturity and sophistication in project management, and the tools with which the organization can assess its own sophistication in project management. Once a snapshot of the organizational sophistication has been established, the organization can use the concepts described in this book to improve project management sophistication, and by extension the profit margin of the organization. The coverage is brief but advanced.
