It is 1889 and the Williams siblings are mourning the loss of their parents. Seeking security, through routine they adhere to the daily responsibilities of managing the family farm, but soon seventeen-year-old James and sixteen-year-old Alexandra are overwhelmed in their efforts to raise their younger siblings.
