Weather Report

Weather Report returns to the ancient tradition of oracular stories, but remains in today's language - a langue of & evoking the imagination - not this intellectual language of doggerel we often find in today's letters. I also find, for the most part, that these poems grow and intermingle with one another. After I've read one poem & involved myself with it sufficiently, I turn to the next poem, & by its end, I'm enlightened into the previous poem, & must return to it. This back and forth reflects how Carney simultaneously moves forward and reflects, as the great mythmakers do.
