99 Historic Images of Gettysburg

The Center for Civil War Photography is pleased to present this booklet, created in association with our tenth annual Image of War Seminar. This is the eighth booklet in our 99 Historic Images series and our second to cover Gettysburg. Our first Gettysburg booklet covered but a portion of the battlefield Culp's Hill whereas this publication endeavors to present the entire field and the town. Selecting just 99 images from the particularly rich photographic resources, both wartime and postwar, was a painful task. Our goal with this booklet is to cover Gettysburg in only the broadest swath.
