Reflections from the Wilderness

Reflections from the Wilderness is sincere and unadorned. Stoney Greywolf Bowers' first book of poetry preserves a uniquely American way of life that has all but died away. This volume of poetry is divided into three sections, each dealing with a unique part of the author's life. The book opens with Bowers' cowboy poems, written during his twenty plus years "punchin' cattle and movin' broomtails." The second section contains a sampling of the author's Native American poems, and the third section covers his experiences while living a solitary life in the wilderness.
