Ghetto Sorrows

Ghetto Sorrows, is a bittersweet story about friendship, trust, tragedy, and triumph. A female ex-con has plans to do the right thing after she goes to prison on a gun possession charge for her ex-boyfriend. Carmen’s dream is to move and open up her own shop someday out of the ‘Hood’. Her best friend China, who still thinks everything that glitters is gold, is intent on bringing Carmen back into the game to live the life they once lived. Carmen finds herself caught between inescapable yet contradictory forces to get money. Carmen has to decide what she is willing to risk to achieve her dream including her friendship with China.
