Danny Drumm's Heroes, Vol. 2: America's Beginnings- The Spaniards

Danny Drumm's Heroes is a children's book series that tells the stories of heroes and heroines of the United States. The books will cover these historical figures chronologically. These stories are historically accurate and written and illustrated for young readers to provide an introduction to important people and events in the development of our country. Parents and educators will find them useful supplements for getting younger generations interested in American history. Danny Drumm and his little dog, Shadow, will tell each story. The books are wonderfully illustrated by Nacho Garcia of El Paso, TX, a popular El Paso political artist. In Volume 2, The Spaniards, Danny Drumm tells Shadow the stories of Columbus' discovery of the new world, Hernan Cortes' conquest of the Aztec empire, and the beginnings of New Spain.
