Jack Jacobs and the Doomsday Time Machine
Description:
In this futuristic time travel puzzler, Jack Jacobs and his organic supercomputer, Jennifer, have been gone from Earth for sixteen years in their custom-designed spaceship secretly fitted with a quantum gravity propulsion system. When they finally arrive back to Earth, they expect it to be in the year 2199, but find the planet is one-hundred years into their past. After Jennifer begins analyzing the characteristics of the Earths sun and its magnetic field, she discovers that what has happened to Earth is related to an event inside of another galaxy. It is a galaxy that their spaceships silicon-based computer also said Jack Jacobs had discovered, yet he has no recollections of ever discovering it. In their quest to come up with answers, they find they are caught up in the same time dilations and what is happening with Earth and its solar system. It soon becomes a matter of life or death for them and the only possible solutions to their predicament lies in a distant galaxy they may have already visited, but have no way of knowing for sure. They must now trek across the universe to the distant galaxy. What they find there was something neither of them ever expected and takes them where no one has ever been before.
