Matters of the Heart

When I first began writing Matters of the Heart, less than a year ago, my intention was simply to offer it to my three daughters as a gift. But the more I wrote, the more I realized that it was meant to be shared with other teen girls As an adolescent, I wished that I d had a roadmap a guidebook to help me discover and focus on the things that really mattered and to help me develop the strength and courage to live by those things. Matters of the Heart is the guidebook I wish someone had given me during my teen years. I know that there are few things in life that matter more than having a clear sense of who we are. As I m sure you know, girls are growing up so quickly, and they re constantly being bombarded with confusing images and information. Matters of the Heart offers a refreshing and empowering voice, and offers the support and guidance teen girls need to help them overcome negative influences and reach their full potential.
