This collection is an attempt to deal with, or at least circle around, these duel aspects of science. He received the Maine State Chapbook award for Samuel Sewall Sails For Home. Beloit Journal's Chad Walsh Award "Heat Wave In Concord." Other poetry books include Thirteen Moons in English, French, and Passamaquoddy (2002), and most recently, Bent Offerings, from Sheltering Pines Press (2003). Essays In All Directions, a chapbook of short poems is coming soon from Moon Pie Press. Born in Maine, Robert Chute attended Fryeburg Academy and U. Maine (BA Zoology, 1950).
