Western plants have been used for thousands of years in healing. This book carefully explains the spirituality of healing and the use of plants in healing. The book is a collaboration between an American Indian Healer and a Professor of Pharmacology. For each plant the book provides a photograph and description, traditional uses, active constituents and recommendations for use. The authors view these plants as gifts from God that should be used in our everyday healthcare.
