I Am Not Ashamed: Sermons By Wesleyan-Holiness Women

In this collection the reader will find a wide variety of sermons. I have included four sermons by women whose ministries bridged the early and mid twentieth century. These sermons are on the topic of holiness. While some of the language and concepts regarding holiness and sanctification may have changed, these sermons provide a glimpse of these women as being fully empowered and completely confident in what God called them to do. I have attempted to gather sermons that represent diversity - college students and those with doctorates; pastors, co-pastors, and professors of preching; women of color and women from other countries; women from different Holiness denominations. All of these women have written on a wide variety of themes, including suffering, ministry, hope, and power. The caliber of the sermons by these amazingly strong preachers cannot be matched.
