A Matter of Time

When 16-year-old Rachel Collins meets Jason Russo, she knows in an instant that he is her soul mate. She tries everything from dirty dancing to dating his football rival to get his attention, but he's made up his mind that she's just not his type. Rachel and Jason hang out in the same circles, but they never develop the romance Rachel believes is their destiny.

Jason knows Rachel has a crush on him, and though he isn’t interested, he finds himself feeling strangely protective of her when she begins to show up in his remarkably-vivid dreams; it's as if she's calling to him. Rachel and Jason eventually become friends, but the realities of adult life set in and the two drift apart.

For the next ten years, they lead parallel lives until a shocking tragedy of fate reaches out and pulls them back together.
