Don't Miss the Point

Why do some people become discouraged and even disillusioned with Christianity after an initial start? Why do others who have laid claim to the Gospel suffer from abnormal amounts of guilt and condemnation? Why is the subject of grace sometimes emphasized in a way that makes it sound like a license to sin? Why? Because someone missed the point! When a person says it's just too hard to serve God, he's missed the point. When legalisms bind people and make life miserable, somebody missed the point. When churches split and anger destroys relationships, they've missed the point.
