It reflects the work of over a dozen writers and editors, doing extensive research, writing, artwork, editing, and fact-checking, culminating in a first-of-its-kind volume on the municipal flags of Canada. The articles range from the megacity of Greater Toronto Metro Area, Ontario (with over 5 million people), to the hamlet of Carmacks, Yukon Territory (population 425 in 2006).
