The Crimson Staff

Enter Rialos, an epic fantasy world filled with beauty and danger. Rea, a young woman coming of age in an often deadly world, soon finds that not everything is as it appears. What begins for her as a simple quest to find the fate of her family turns into the challenge of her lifetime as she struggles to survive against the mysterious forces that line up against her. She must not only come to terms with her past, but also with the consequences of her actions along the way.

As she continues on her quest Rea meets many varied personalities, each of whom challenges her way of thinking through their words and deeds. She soon finds that what she thought was a world of white and black, good and evil, is in fact a world of shades of gray. She will have to come to grips with the very different worldviews of her companions if they are to survive and succeed in their quest. She will be forced to look past race and profession to find the truth of her companions.
