Two dogs, brothers who are determined to stick together, are crossing the countryside to find a home. Armed with a nose for trouble and lots of curiosity, Tater and Totwho share a passion for potatoesfind themselves in all kinds of trouble while searching for the little boy who’s meant to have them. The story’s watercolor imagery illustrates the dogs’ quest as they get themselves into one situation after another and charm their way into a young boy's heart.
