Adirondack Splendor

25 years of photographs of the Adirondack Mountains by author Den Linnehan. New York's North country is synonymous with the Adirondack Forest Preserve protected by state law to remain"forever wild". It comprises approximately 6 million acres , about the size of the state of Vermont. The Adirondack State Park has over 2,000 miles of trails Newails. Within the park are 2,300 lakes and ponds iwth more than 1,000 miles of rivers fed by an estimated 30,000 miles of brooks and streams.
