Land of Four Seas

An American engineer, lost and lonely after losing his wife, comes to the Holy Land looking for a long-forgotten relative. In a series of encounters with several women, a strange group of followers of a mystic sect, and his travels through country, he slowly breaks out of his depression, and with the assistance of an attractive Israeli woman who had also experienced personal tragedy, he goes through a journey of initiatory experiences, leading him from the profane to the spiritual.
