The Soldier's Mother and Other Life Experiences Like most Israeli parents, the author experienced that most traumatic of separations, when her children served in the Defence Forces. This collection of poems and essays connects her own experiences as a war baby with the growing up and adolescence of her four children and their induction into the Army. The last part of the anthology is a collection of life experiences which relate to all of us coping with the stresses of modern life.
