A Place Called Telluride

Reading level age 9-14. It is the 1870's. Will the Adam's family really make a permanent move from Philadelphia to Telluride, Colorado? As the wagon train moves slowly towards its destination, the Adams' family encounters many hardships and some exciting adventures. A strong bond is forged between 10 year old Michael Adams and his dog Gypsy as they face the harsh realities of frontier life together. After the death of Jane Adams, the Reverend Jerome Adams and his son struggle with their future plans. Will they go to Telluride or will they continue on to California with the wagon train?
