In The Shelter of The Fold

Howie Madison Cobb while serving aboard the USS Circe during WWII learns things about himself that he prefers not to know, while his wife Indella CoraMae Shealy Cobb, learns at much too young an age what it means to be a mother. When Howie returns home, he brings with him longings that he does not understand and subsequently cannot explain even to his beloved wife. In The Shelter of The Fold is a chronicle of America's emerging into and learning to live with the Atomic Age.
