REES Associates: History of an Architectural Firm

In 1975 Frank Rees launched a new architectural firm in the great American Southwest. At first, the firm consisted of him, an answering service, and a healthy share of confidence. The venture soon attracted a core team of architects who shared Frank’s approach to planning first, design and construction next. At times the emerging firm grew beyond their boldest expectations; occasionally, they stumbled over hard lessons and regrouped. Today, Rees Associates, Inc. spans the globe. The story of Rees Associates is more than a corporate biography.
