Oregon Hauntings and the Unexplained

Frank MaesRedmond, Oregon, 1994Frank's mother passed away, Labor Day, 1993 in Portland, Oregon. The following April is when Frank had his experience. It was during spring vacation 1994 he was at his home in Redmond, Oregon. He and his wife were asleep, it was about 1:30 A.M. when his two Pomeranian dogs started barking very loudly and woke him up, the dogs had been sleeping on the end of the bed. Frank sat up on the edge of his bed and saw a light over by the closet area, the light had a white hazy glow around it, and his mother appeared in the light, she was wearing all white with the glowing haze around her.His mother spoke to him "Tell everyone I'm okay and not to worry about me." Frank was amazed that the dogs barking did not wake his wife or the bright light. He woke her and told her what had happened, and yes she believed him. Frank then went and woke his son to tell him about the appearance of his grandmother and all he said was "Really dad?"When Frank called his brother to share the manifestation of their mother and the short conversation they had, his brother just replied, "Frank what the hell have you been drinking." Frank replied," Nothing damn it if you don't believe me that's fine. Mother said to tell you what she said, so I did. Believe me or not that's up to you."Frank said he thought that Jesus wanted him to be the one for the vision and receive the message and share it with the rest of the family, because he was the favorite child.He said that this experience seemed to have a calming effect on him and now he accepts there is life after death. His mother is happy where she is...
