KAWS C10: The Paintings of KAWS

Michelin, the Simpsons, Mickey, Astroboy and Miffy all fall victim to KAWS in C10, the third publication from the Brooklyn based artist. Most well known for his appropriation and intervention of material from the advertising world in the early 1990’s, KAWS has selected characters from toy, cartoon and comic book culture for his most recent body of work. Each page is a painting whose subject matter has been cleverly reworked with variations of his hallmark skull and crossbones.
