The Spiral Press: A Bibliographical Checklist

The Spiral Press and its founder Joseph Blumenthal designed and printed for some of American great writers including Robert Frost, W.H. Auden, and William Carlos Williams. The Press' significant contribution to the American book arts is widely acknowledged by the fact that its books are collected and cherished by The Morgan Library, the Metropolitan Museum of Art and MOMA. This is the most complete bibliography of the Press yet produced and is an important reference tool for libraries and book collectors, as well as those interested in literary and printing history.
