A warm and humorous novel about what happens to a politically correct family when the Black Sheep, a very politically incorrect member, arrives unexpectedly, at an otherwise peaceful funeral. The novel takes place in and around Marietta Georgia in the early 60's and captures the attitudes, prejudices and double standards, yet does so with compassion and an understand of the era.
