Adam Wittner can see into the minds of other people by touching their pillows. In this book, the first of three currently being published, Adam must search for a woman who has been kidnapped after he receives her memories by using the motel pillow she used the night before. This is the first time Adam has truly used his abilities to help others and he comes to realize that after this, he will not be able to deny what he can do.
