How Chipmunk Got tiny Feet

Seven stories from three different Native American tribes--Coushatta Creek, Navajo, and Tsimshian -- explain the ways of the world and why certain animals have stripes while others have wings, feathers and tiny feet. Each story has a message and an easily understood moral, which can be summarized by saying, we live together, not apart.
