Designer and children's book author and illustrator Sara Anderson imaginatively translates the concept of counting for toddlers, from one hen to ten cars. The innovative conceptual design features thick, sturdy, boldly colorful cardboard pages of graduated lengths--the pages get bigger right along with the numbers. Two ladybugs, three cherries, four watermelon slices… preschoolers will have fun counting the cheerful images playfully rendered in Anderson's unique cut-paper style. (Preschool)
