Poetry. SIDE-WAYS is a collection of prose poems, the title of which is taken from the first poem, "Crab," a creature who lives by the necessity that one must "move at one's own angle or die in its pursuit!" Giannini is the author of ANTONIO AND CLARA and OTHER LINES, a collection of "collage haikus."
