Seasons of the Heart

Seasons of the Heart is a collection of very personal poetry that uses the four seasons as a template to explore a varied range of themes and emotions. each seaon is characterised by a different tone in its poetry. Spring looks at themes of creation and there is a religious depth to many of the poems. Summer is very much about love, while autumn begins the decline into the death and pain that pervades winter. The collection works as a unified organism with its own sense of growth and progression.
