Turner's Flight: Will Turner's Flight Logs

By the autumn of 1915 the airmen of the Royal Flying Corps are struggling to perform their task in support of the men in the trenches, against the threat of the deadly new Fokker eindekker monoplanes. Increasingly well organised, the German Air Service is inflicting terrible casualties in what becomes known as the Fokker Scourge. Against this background Will Turner, Anglo-American pioneer aviator, arrives at a demoralised squadron to take command of A Flight, with a brief to find a solution to the losses. As well as fighting battles in the air, he finds himself in conflict on the ground with his harsh, and increasingly erratic commanding officer, while facing treachery from an unexpected source.
