Buddy, Can You Spare a Dime?

The material found in this work was primarily derived from over 50,000 pages of microfilm information found in the LaSalle Post-Tribune, the Ottawa Republican- Times, the Morris Herald, the Bureau County Republican, and the Putnam County Record. Additional information was obtained from personal interviews with individuals who experienced the events and relatives of those individuals.
