Windows to Ordinary Souls

I am a photographer, and a lover of poetry. When I stumbled on the book, it was the combination of the poetry and black and white photography which caught my eye. I was not familiar with George Mulcaire-Jones, but in thumbing through the pages in the store, I was immediately moved and drawn in, the way I am in reading Rumi ("Fountain of Fire" ), or Rilke's "Book of Hours -- Love Songs to God". (Both of these are newer translations.)The poems in "Windows to Ordinary Souls" are short and simple, but reverent and stirring.
