Ansley Golf Club: "One Hell of a Good Club"

While the course was built in 1912, it was not until 1915 that Ansley Park Golf Club was organized as a corporation. Before that time, a small informal voluntary association of golfers paid Mr. Ansley a small fee for the privilege of playing on his in-town golf links. Over the next seventy-five years Ansley Golf Club would evolve into one of the country's finest family-oriented private clubs and the South's most prestigious and challenging nine-hole golf course.
