On its surface, this volume may appear to be just another picture book about Hurricane Katrina. But it is much more than that. It is the unique story of the storm and its impact upon a historic New Orleans institution- the New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary. So it is an institutional history. But it is not an impartial, objective rendering of the facts. It is a history narrated by the students, staff, and faculty who were a part of the seminary community when Katrina struck. Their individual voices combine to tell the school's story and communicate the many ways that Hurricane Katrina changed their lives.
