The Covenant of the Holy Innocents

Throughout the world today, one of the most passionately debated issues is a woman's right to have an abortion. Many countries have banned the practice altogether while others, including the United States, fight bitterly over what some call murder and others call freedom of choice. What if a committed group of people decided to mount an all out assault on the practice, and money was not an issue? What if this group was made up of individuals' one considers normally beyond reproach? What if their plan was unwittingly uncovered by a veteran reporter looking into a seemingly unrelated story? Through a strange turn of events, the reader is transported into a world of spiritual conflict and international terrorism. Although the two seem at extreme ends of the continuum, they blend together to take a hard look at religious fervor gone too far.
