Millennium's End: Poems

This extraordinary collection of verse by Michael Bugeja seems to have come along at exactly the right time: at the conclusion of one century and the beginning of another. The verses are powerful and poignant, offering truths about ourselves, our attitudes and our times that we might not find quite comfortable. It is, at once, a look back at how far we have come as a society, and a fair warning as to how far we have yet to travel. His poems rise off the page and linger in memory.
