This is the story of a doctor who served in the Medical Corps, Army of the United States during WWII, in Europe, the Phillippines, & the Occupation of Japan & then returned home to Mich. to complete 50 yrs. of medical practice. Good/Very Good; owner's name on front endpaper, signed by author on title page, illustrated-all pictures were taken by the author. All oil paintings were done by the author, with the exception of "My Castle by the River", which was done by Adelaide Lawrence. Includes Short Character Sketches of several 'noted pillars' of Michigan Statesmen Benefactors, such as Paul Wendler & Hugh "Duffy" Daugherty.
